I have an '86 9000T with 160K miles. I am debating if I should put some
money into the car or replace it with another 9000.

Here is the condition of the car:
-Tranny is whiney (told it would have to be replaced within 5k miles 40k
miles ago)
-Interior pieces starting to come apart (B-pillar trim, vent controls, etc.)
-Radio plays randomly, bumps in the road turn it off/on-
-Radio antenna needs to be replaced
-Aircon needs all hoses, charged, and compressor checked
-When gas tank gets to 1/4 full, it 'chugs' down to road as if it is not
getting fuel. This has gotten progressively worse. Using good gas/have ran
through injector cleaner. If it gets low enough, car will progressively
have less power no matter how much gas is being applied, stall, and restart
after 15 mins.
-Stalls frequently when slowing down (popping the clutch to refire the
engine is a common occurence). I believe this is the O2 or air mass sensor.
-Exhuast system needs to be replaced from the cat back
-Back hatch hydraulic lifts need to be replaced
-Front windscreen needs to be replaced
-Passenger side headlight needs to be replaced
-Brake lights/turn signals have grounding problems
-Front passenger rotor is warped
-Power steering rack needs to be replaced
-Front (driver and passenger door) seals need to be replaced
-Slight smell of coolant in cabin when heater is turned on - imagine this
means the heater core is going and requires taking apart dash
-Front struts/rear shocks (possibly springs) need to be replaced
-Parking brake is acting notchy on engagement
-Front suspension on passenger side seems a little loose
-Needs winshield washer reservoir pump
-Needs windshield wipers
-Cruise control doesn't work
-Tint needs to be removed/replaced
-Power windows function glacially
-Power locks act up once in a while
-Needs 4 wheel alignment
-Needs front tires

Many of these items are minor/regular maintenance issues/age/mileage
milestones. I do my own work and have replaced the clutch, cv joints, etc.
What I am asking is, putting $2000 to $3000 into this car, will it last
another 3 years? Do I need to worry about a tranny?

I would like to get some opinions. Thanks,
Ramin
