Dear Saab Friends,
I have a problem with the acceleration on my 1990 900 Turbo 16v.
When I accelerate full power the turbo kicks in sometimes with lots of =
power and others don`t.When it have power the gauge goes to the limit of =
the yellow but the gauge begins to go back to the middle of the yellow, =
and I am still giving the maximun power, the feeling is that the car is =
very heavy it isn`t giving is best it used to be explosive.
The other times the gauge only goes a littlr after the middle of the =
yellow, and giving full power I have to wait for the red rpm to be read.
The car is running great but I feel that it lacks power, I have to force =
a lot the car with high rpm to have some sport performance.
The maximum power of the turbo is OK, but it spends more time than the =
normal to go there.
I have a problem with the cruise control, but it was fixed by the =
dealer, it worked 15 minutes, during this time the car was with the same =
acceleration. After this 15 minutes the cuise control was broken =
again. Now the car is on the dealer again.
I have to install a new wastegate assembly because the old wastegate =
doesn=B4t move freely.Could be here the problem, bad replacement ? =
Adjust of pressures?
To check leakages a have connected pressure line of the wastegate to the =
turbo, and I could read that the gauge of pressure was always on the =
same position or with more pressure it never goes back, it proves that a =
have a electric problem ?

If somebody can give me some advice on what the problem could be , I =
would appreciate it veru much.

Thank you
Nuno
