the CD you are talking about is the EPC (Electronic Parts Catalogue).

It has illustrated drawings with all available part numbers for:

All 900 models from '86 to '98.
All 9000 models from '85 to '98.
9-3 models from '98 to '00.
9-5 models from '98 to '00.

All of the world's markets are covered, so you can look up stuff like the 
'85 9000T 3-piece euro spoiler, non-electric door-mirrors and window 
regulators for 9000, various APC and Jetronic ECU boxes for use WITHOUT cat 
converters (presumably no O2 sensor - open loop), 33 and 24-tooth primary 
transfer chain sprockets that can make a C900T 5-speed go 145mphno39sdcx6spamx7825500rpm, 
and much much more.  Of course, trying to order non-US market parts at US 
dealers will not get you very far...

The EPC also has exchange part numbers and info for all models from '67 to 
'00.  Unfortunately, no stroker stuff.

I don't know if the EPC is available for purchase.  It contains NO pricing 
information, so it might as well be for sale, just like the microfiche sets 
are.

Call your favorite SAAB dealer and see if they can look up the EPC's own 
part number, and find out whether it's even for sale.  Please let the list 
know what you have found.
