I am the recent purchaser of a 1999 Saab 9-3. Since the age of 16 I have
owned a Saab and I must say that the car I own now is almost my dream car
(I wanted the Viggen). I was an old style loyalist for 11 years and I have
no regrets on the change I've made. However, I have questions:

I have had a host of problems dealing with the turbo bypass valve (hooter)
and the ECM that it works with, torq steer, steering alignment, front
speaker connection and ACC unit replacement. All of these problems have
been fixed, but it seems like an aweful lot for a car with 5,500K on it. Is
this normal and will it continue?

Other than an K&N air filter and a standard Saab sport exhaust, is there
anything else I can do to this car to improve performance without voiding
the warranty? Thanks in advance for any help you all can provide.
