Central Locking

I have a 92 9000T with an intermittent fault with the central locking system.
Sometimes it functions normally but more often does not work at all. I have
removed all door panels & checked & lubricated to make sure all locks work
freely but no improvement. All solenoids work consistently when power is
applied directly to them and I have even switched them out with some spares
from a 900 and the problem persists. Is there a control module somewhere
which could be at fault? I would be glad of some advice.

Also my son will be taking his 84 900T to Alamosa, CO and I would like to
know if anyone knows of a Saab mechanic or even a knowledgeable owner in the
area in case he runs into problems he cannot fix himself.
