Point taken, I've told people the same thing about buying an AMC
Technical Service Manual. But, the Saab Chilton was a freebie - it's not
much, but it's all I have. Right now, the $50-$60 is better spent on
bills and putting food in my daughters' mouth.

Actually, I'm on foot most of the time anyway, doesn't seem to make much
difference.

It's an '84

I haven't found one yet, I know Volkswagon and other manufacturers used
an idle control module to keep the ignition at a constant idle-speed but,
this car has nothing of that nature.

So far, it doesn't seem to mind running at the slightly higher idle - we
haven't had any problem with it 'dying' anymore and it has become easier
to drive as a result. Many other people have given me tips and
assistance - If we have any more problems, I will, at least, know where
to start looking.

Thanks everyone!
