Saab could use a new 9-3. Compared to the old style 900, the current model
is a much less useful vehicle, and has not been reliable. I especially
dislike the lack of a flat, clear, load space, the 6' shorter rear deck
length, and the cramped feeling in the driver's position. It also looks
smaller than it really is, especially from the rear. The 9-5 is much
better in terms of both space and reliability, but a bit too luxury
oriented and pricey for me. I would love a performance model that did not
require me to purhcase all of the luxury features as well, and that would
be more reliable.

The Aztek (out this summer) will be a unit body vehicle, rather than a
frame and body truck chassis, which is good. It is rather unusual looking,
and so a Saab variant would be perfectly natural : ) .
I really like all wheel or 4 wheel drive. For me, an ideal vehicle would
normally have front wheel drive and be switchable to all wheel only when
needed, to avoid the fuel penalty of full time all wheel drive..
