I'm not sure if this is too premature as I've literally only just subscribed
to the group.. I'll have a go however!

I've just bought a '96 9000 CSE 2.3FPT and am interested in swapping the trip
computer over.

I can get hold of a couple of second-hand units, one Part no. 9124579
(9509795) and the other is an SCC Trip Computer (Part number 29060) Both
appear to have digital displays, but have different button configutations. My
existing unit is the simple info unit (dist to dest and fuel consumption
etc.,) with the analogue clock above the control buttons.

The question is: Will the units simply swap over?

Any thoughts appreciated.

Thanks

Greg
