When I moved back to Westchester County I 'interviewed' Beck & Greenwich
Saab.  I got a funny feeling at Beck & just couldn't trust them in my gut.
Seems like your experience supports my gut theory.  I have been using
Greenwich Saab for a couple of years & can say I am satisfied.  I bought a
900 Convertible from Saw Mill Auto in Yonkers with a dead tranny.  I had it
towed up to Greenwich Saab rather than down the block to Beck.

G. Saab have made some stupid mistakes that I have caught, but they have
always stepped up, took responsibility, & corrected the situation.  In the
service department Paul & Dave are nice, but seem to be merely doing a job.
Kevin is the guy who is a knowledgeable enthusiast & I think he is the
service manager.  They also have a new lady there named JoAnn who seems to
have real possibility if not experience.

The only problem is that they don't have the ability to do NY inspections.
Their phone # is 877-345-SAAB.  They are a block away from the train
station.

There is an independent I have heard good speak of in Bronx.  I think his
name is Chris, but I don't have his info.  He has had many postings, he's
probably in the mechanics section of TSN.
