I have been struggling with a problem for 2 years now. Towards the end =
of my warrantee on 1996 900se conv I discovered a problem. Summer or =
winter, the cabin heats up or cools down to the preset temp. Once it =
achieves the temp, it no longer recognizes that it is too hot. So the =
temp will continue to rise. The only thing that 'recycles' the system is =
to hit the off button, then hit it again to turn it back on, and =
miraculously it will 'realize' that it is too hot, turn on cool air, and =
get back to the desired 68-70 temp. Then after one cycle, the whole =
thing repeats itself.=20

I have had the car in 6-7 times, including the last three times for 2-3 =
weeks each, while the 'technical guru' is called in. The car is then =
deemed 'fixed' each time, but of course it isn't.=20

Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

benj
