Internal Wiring

hey all...
i currently have a '92 SAAB 9000 (stick shift).... and i've got a quick
question regarding internal wiring:
I use the cigarette lighter plug in the car for 3 different things: CD
player, flashing green light (for responding to emergencies...im a
volunteer EMT) and my cell phone charger. I was wondering if there was any
way to wire any of these internally rather than having to switch the plugs
constantly. Specifically, i'd like to wire the green light and the CD
player. I'd expect to cut the cords on the plugs and attach it internally.
Is this possible? If so, is it easy? (im no electrician, but i can figure
out basic stuff). I'd plan on attaching some sort of switch to the green
light cord to turn it on/off...most likely something simple i could get in
a hardware store. As for the CD player, it doesn't matter to me if its
always getting power.
Let me know if you think this is at all possible, and if so, where exactly
i could wire it into. Theoretically, i'd like to be able to run all 3
things at once: green light and CD player wired internally, and cell phone
charger plugged into the cigarette plug. I typically don't need all three
at once (if im responding to an emergency, im ususally not listening to a
CD), but it'd be nice to get all the wires out of the way.

thx for the help,
Yoni
