Just checked out the Aztek and Rendezvous sites. One item jumped out - on
the Rendezvous site http://www.buick.com/rendezvous/look/index.html,
the

little box says, 'Fact: Open and insert 4X8 sheet of plywood.' (It doesn't
say 'close' after the plywood is in, but the tiny little picture appears to
show a panel completely inside the vehicle.)

For those outside the US, the standard unit of most sheets of building
material here is four by eight feet, 48 by 96 inches. An infuriating number
of SUVs and minivans have rear doors that are 47.5 inches wide, or wheel
wells that are 47.75 apart inside, making a common hauling task into a
precarious, trim-jimmying, upholstery ripping disaster. If Saab does adopt
this platform, I hope someone clues them in to how attractive a 48+ inch
flat load width is in the US!

Loren
