I have a small problem on my 1988 9000 2.0T 110,000miles

When the engine is first started the check engine light flashes on and =
off a few times, and then stays off.

This fault does not happen every time I start the engine, but it =
happened again this morning, and before that it did it 2 days ago.

Does anyone know what this is, and how to stop it ?

I am gathering it is a bad connection to something, but where?

Any help would be appreciated

Please reply direct to my E-mail address

Regards,

Anthony Graham Eckersall
