I am very happy with the Sonny Xplode I had put in my '92 9000. It =
plays CDs, CDRs and even CD RWs equally well and has MP3 support so now =
I can make 150 song CDs and listen to them in my car. However, getting =
it in was quite the ordeal. I went the whole range of installation =
options, from a friend who just likes to install car stereos, to a high =
end car stereo store, where they tried to sell me some gizmos to solve =
problems caused by the factory installed pre amp. Eventually I chose =
Circuit City to buy my unit, speakers and install them. The key was =
that they had experience installing Saab stereo systems and knew what to =
expect and how to do it. The total bill for the stereo, four speakers =
and installation was $600. My wife has been planning my death ever =
since we got the bill.
