Yoni,
Sounds like a faulty electrical connection on you dash/gauge assembly.
Assuming you're not experiencing any other electrical gremlins, like idiot
lights falsely illuminating, it is probably localized to the tach area of the
panel. As the car warms up with cabin heat, things expand, and can make the
bad connection into a marginal, and sometimes OK connection, hence the fact
that the tach may read erroneously.

So I would remove the cluster, and check for tight and completely mated
connections--both signals and grounds, any signs of oxidized etch. You might
want to replace the cluster light bulbs while you're in there also.
