The first replacement was the result of the original design defect, and
unless the new design was not in use at that time, that should have done
it. The current design is very reliable.

You probably should not use Platinum plugs, by Bosch or anyone else, with
the DI Cassette. Even the pre-trionic models do some exhaust gas sensing,
and the narrow electrode geometry of platinum plugs means you have changed
the sensor geometry.
