Mirror and Shocks

Hi. The glass part of my drivers side mirror fell off the other day, and
since I'm a college student I'd like to try to attach it back on before I
run out and buy something new. I have a pretty good idea of what to reattach
it with, but my questions is, does anyone know a really good way to hold the
mirror in place while it dries? I have power mirrors and I don't want to
damage that part of. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Also, (I have a 91 900s 16v) I need to replace the shocks and I am going to
try to do it myself (with the help of a friend). Looking at the manual, it
seems like it shouldn't be too hard, and that I won't need any special
equipment. If anyone has any pointers, suggestions, tips or knows if this
would be an impossible task, please let me know.
Thank!
Shannon
